The use of an INC Professional Dynamometer Room will ensure a stable, repeatable environment for your dynamometer runs and a safe work space for your technicians. INC offers a complete line of affordable, functional Dynamometer Test Rooms just right for any dynamometer set up. Designed and constructed of our rugged 4” thick, high performance industrial duty modular acoustical panel system called Panl-Wall®, our Dynamometer Test Rooms are easy to install, easy to modify as your needs change and easy to move or grow with your facility. Design and performance features of our dyno rooms have been developed and tested specifically to work well with a variety of dynamometers and equipment applications to provide a minimum of 40 decibel (dBA) sound level reduction.

Of course a Dynamometer Test Room is only as effective as it’s ventilation system, and our SuperVent® option guarantees to remove all heat, carbon monoxide and other combustion & exhaust gases while providing fresh air for engine consumption and operator comfort – without sacrificing any noise reduction.
Even when making long dyno runs with an eddy-current or other load applying device, such as when fuel injection mapping, our SuperVent system with our unique flow-thru design, reduces harmful carbon monoxide levels to just 4 ppm!

Basic Dynamometer Test Room Kits
Each of our standard dynamometer room configurations includes modular wall & roof panels, all required assembly components, trims and hardware necessary to erect a complete test room of the desired size. Our basic dynamometer room kits are complete with one 4’ wide single swing high performance acoustical entry door and seal assembly and one 42” square double glazed viewing window. All components of dynamometer test rooms are fabricated of corrosion resistant electro-galvanized steel and are provided unpainted.

SuperVent Ventilation System
Our ventilation package for engine dynamometer rooms include severe duty exhaust fans, heavy duty low frequency Panl-Flow® exhaust silencer stacks, aerodynamic inlet grill, acoustical inlet plenum, 700° F flexible exhaust hoses, and all related components. Our system is designed to provide a net air change of 8 to 10 times per minute while maintaining the acoustical integrity of the dyno room.

Please note that our vent system requires 230/460 volt 3-phase power and you must duct the exhaust fans out of your facility.

Dynamometer Installation
Your INC Dynamometer Test Room is shipped to you in modular kit form to be assembled on site by you or your local contractor. Assembly is very easy and can be done with a three-person crew using ordinary hand tools in about 3 days. We have carefully designed our system to be user installed and all rooms are shipped with detailed instructions and drawings... and of course, technical help is just a phone call away. INC installation services for engine dynamometers are available upon request.
