INC Panl-Wall™ product line by Industrial Noise Control consists of pre-engineered, modular acoustical metal panels (“building blocks”) that can be configured and assembled into a wide variety of structures used to control and reduce excessive noise levels in industrial, commercial, institutional and community environments. Panl-Wall™ is particularly suited for applications requiring a high degree of noise reduction of 40 decibels or more combined with rugged durability. Panl-Wall™ is particularly well suited to:

To provide solutions for the widest variety of applications, Panl-Wall™ features an array of integrated, related components providing high performance acoustical characteristics combined with rugged structural integrity and design flexibility. A range of basic panel constructions and joining methods provide a unique combination of acoustical and mechanical features to best meet your specific requirements.

Construction Options

  • Panel modules available from 2” to 8” thick
  • Panel modules available up to 4’ wide and 15’ long
  • Sound Transmission Loss Ratings from STC 35 to STC 58
  • Sound Absorption Ratings to NRC 1.05
  • Components constructed from electro-galvanized steel, G90 galvanized steel, cold rolled steel, aluminum and stainless steel
  • Construction material gauges from 22 gauge to ¼” steel plate
  • A variety of panel acoustical fill materials and encapsulation available

Design & Assembly Features

  • Fully interchangeable components provide the greatest degree of design flexibility
  • Basic panel assembly method uses our square edge panel module and one-piece formed H-Channel joiner suitable for most applications and affords the greatest degree of design flexibility
  • Roll formed interlocking tongue-and-groove panel joint design available for air and water tight pressurized plenum applications or where a sleek, flush joint appearance is important
  • Corners are built-up using flashings and connectors or supplied as one-piece formed corner panels
  • Several removable access panel options available
  • Heights greater than 15’ are assembled by stacking multiple tiers of panel modules
  • Extremely high sound attenuation is possibly by utilizing a double wall or “room within a room” design
  • Nearly unlimited structure sizes can be achieved with the use of our integrated structural support systems

Available Doors & Windows

Compatible acoustical doors and window are available in almost any size and configuration to meet the design criteria.

  • Hinged access and personnel doors in custom or industry standard sizes available up to 14’ wide x 18’ high (doors are available in acoustical ratings to match the panel module style or project requirements up to STC-52 and in all available construction materials)
  • Sliding doors available in similar sizes and performance
  • Several styles of multi-layer glazed viewing windows using tempered, laminated or wire reinforced glass; polycarbonate and impact / bullet resistant units to UL Level 3

Structural Integrity

Panl-Wall™ components are designed to be robust, self-supporting structures that meet all normal use codes.  For applications requiring increased load bearing capabilities such as wind, snow, seismic resistance, or for very large expanse or unusual configurations,  INC can design and manufacture a completely integrated structural support system compatible with the project requirements.
